We live in a world of multiple crises that constantly disrupt our daily lives and professional careers. There's this diffuse feeling that something doesn't stop. That things aren't getting done. Too much is happening at once. Too many mental windows are open. Productivity suffers. Health suffers too.
So how do we create a work environment where we can thrive? What do leaders and employees specifically need to maintain focus, work productively, and stay balanced? What conditions are necessary to create psychological safety in teams?
Leaders who push themselves beyond their limits, a culture that incentivizes overwork, teams where pressure to perform is encouraged—a combination that promises success but actually produces the opposite.
If we want a culture where employees and leaders achieve good results, can unfold their potential, and take responsibility out of intrinsic motivation, we need to think holistically: What kind of organization do we want to be, and how do we want to collaborate? Every organization faces its own cultural challenges regarding workplace mental health. Therefore, sustainable change can only come from within.
For this reason, we develop tailored, experience-based resilience programs validated with our clients, which have an impact on both leadership and team levels. We are not only concerned with what genuine mindfulness and self-regulation look like, but also how we can be a caring resource for each other in the spirit of 'Common Care.' Because resilient collaboration supports resilient leadership and vice versa.
To delve into the impact of self organized work on our mental health, we teamed up with our colleagues from SHITSHOW and asked each other a few questions.
We design individually tailored leadership development programs that contribute to effective self-management and empower leaders to become role models through resilient behaviors in the context of workplace mental health.
We develop team development curricula where we cultivate productivity-enhancing behaviors and routines for everyday work. Based on solid scientific insights from resilience and behavioral research, we raise collective awareness and thereby enhance team effectiveness.
We support leaders in their personal development as role models within their organization. Through individual assessments, practical action steps, and tailored focus on specific challenges, we ensure this work integrates seamlessly into daily routines without becoming an additional burden.
